Prevatte Goode Wedding

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Mollie Currence Prevatte and Jesse McGowan Goode were united in marriage Nov. 5, 2011, at The First Baptist Church. The Rev. Brian Farmer officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony which was followed by a reception at The Wickliffe House.
The  bride was escorted by her brother, Gregory Durham Prevatte. Mrs. Lindsay Horton Hauss of Charleston attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Mrs. Leah Marie Creswell of Wilmington; Mrs. Abby Christine Deaton of Greenville, S.C.; sister of the groom Ms. Stacey Elizabeth Goode of Charleston; and Mrs. Carri Brooke Sellers of Charlotte.
The groom chose his twin brother, Mr. Jonathan McCoy Goode of Winnsboro, S.C., as his best man. Serving as his groomsmen were Mr. Patrick William Bonds of Columbia, S.C.; Mr. Kenneth George Goode Jr. of Charleston; Mr. Marshall Smith Goode II of Columbia; and Mr. Gregory Durham Prevatte of Salisbury.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Sheila and the late Chuck Prevatte of Salisbury and the granddaughter of the late Durham and Agnes Prevatte of Lumberton and the late Franklin and Betty Arrington of Oxford. A 1999 graduate of East Rowan High School, Mollie received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2003. She is a registered nurse at Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
The groom is the son of Mr. John Goode of Lexington, S.C., and Ms. Devon Jeremy of Columbia and the grandson of Dot and the late Marshall Goode of Winnsboro and the late James and Dinah McGowan. A 1999 graduate of Fairfield Central High School, Jesse earned degrees from Frances Marion University in 2005 and Charleston School of Law in 2008. He is an attorney with Howe and Wyndham LLP in Charleston.
Following a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple are living in Charleston.
