Lawson Kate Williams, daughter of Matthew and Courtney Williams of Charlotte, is being baptized today, Aug. 24, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church of Salisbury by Dr. Randy Kirby. Participating as the standing church elder is the infant’s grandfather, Dan R. Williams.
Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dan R. Williams of Salisbury and Dr. and Mrs. Walter C. Kirk Jr. of Goldsboro. Her great-grandparents are Mrs. Charles S. Johnson of Canton and Mrs. Claude F. Humphries of Hudson, Ohio. Others attending include the infant’s sister, Hadley Caroline Williams; aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. John Neuner IV; and cousins William John and Rhodes Matthew Neuner.
