The funeral is Tuesday for Gregory Lee Terry, who died following a two-vehicle accident Friday at the intersection of Briggs and Sherrills Ford Road.
The Post reported his name incorrectly in Sunday’s edition.
Terry, 18, was the son of Gregory Terry and Mendee Ball Williams. He was a 2009 graduate of West Rowan High School.
Terry was driving north on Briggs Road shortly after 9 p.m. Friday when he apparently did not yield the right-of-way at the intersection, according to the Highway Patrol. The Saturn he was driving was broadsided by a Schwann’s food delivery truck.
Terry’s passenger, 17-year-old Jessie Edmond Teveler of Mooresville, was injured. No details were available Sunday.
The delivery truck driver, Kevin Christopher Blanchard, also received minor injuries.
