Salisbury Academy has been awarded the 2009 We the People Bookshelf, a collection of 22 books on the “Picturing America” theme.
This program, presented by the National Endowment for the Humanities, in cooperation with the American Library Association, encourages young people to read and understand great literature while exploring themes in American history.
This collection will enhance the Salisbury Academy Media Center’s collection and the school’s curriculum and will be read for many years to come.
