Rowan, Kannapolis charge two with drug violations

KANNAPOLIS ó Two people were charged after a search of a Kannapolis home revealed crack cocaine and marijuana, authorities say.
Investigators with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and the Kannapolis Police Department searched the home at 811 Marie Ave. on Friday and found approximately 45 grams of crack cocaine (street value of $9,000), approximately 2 grams of powder cocaine (street value of $200), a small amount of marijuana and $400 cash.
The home’s occupants, David Lynn Bailey and Falon Tenea Graham, face numerous charges.
Bailey was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to sell schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana. He was placed under a $25,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was Monday.
Graham was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to sell schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances. She was placed under a $27,500 secured bond. Her first court appearance was Monday.
