Someone has been stealing catalytic converters from vehicles in Salisbury, some from vehicles that were parked at local businesses.
The incidents occurred June 4 at different times of the day at four different locations.
Evinda Gwen Sheppard reported someone stole the converter from her Jeep Cherokee while it was parked at Sweet Sk8s Skating Rink, 2129 Statesville Blvd., near the Salisbury Mall.
Nathan Bollinger reported someone stole his converter from his vehicle while it was parked at Lowe’s Home Improvement, 207 Faith Road.
Tessa Donahue MaCrae reported her converter stolen from Rowan County Social Services Department, 1236 Old W. Innes St.
Isaiah Allen reported a stolen converter from, MBM Corporation, 380 Circle M Drive.

– Louie T. Page reported on June 4 a breaking and entering from 411 S. Lee St.
– Anthony Francis Codespot reported on June 4 a breaking and entering at 1002 Locke Street Apt. 1.
– A 19-year-old reported he was assaulted at South Link Street.
– Emma Evonne Houston, 36, was charged June 4 with misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury at 236 Pearl St.
– Tyris Renard Davidson, 22, was charged June 4 with injury to personal property and felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a controlled substance at 2345 Statesville Blvd., where he broke the driver’s side window out of a Dodge Intrepid belonging to his ex-girlfriend. He had 20.3 grams of marijuana separated into 14 smaller bags in his front pocket.
