The Salisbury Symphony, under the leadership of Maestro David Hagy, will present a program of “Fantasy and Finance.”
Along with the Post, the evening’s presenting sponsors are F&M Bank and Jim and Gerry Hurley.
A Blackhawk helicopter is scheduled to land this morning at 8:45 a.m. A climbing wall will be ready for action by 10:30 a.m. Food vendors will open their booths at 4 p.m. There will be free Cheerwine.
In celebration of its 100th anniversary, F&M will be distributing small flags for waving during the “Star-Spangled Banner” at the beginning of the program. F&M’s Paul Fisher and Steve Fisher will bring greetings during the evening. Kent Bernhardt will once again serve as master of ceremonies.
The First Bank and Post parking lots will open for tailgating at 10 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
So bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and join us for an evening of fantasy, finance, food, fellowship ó and fun.
See you this evening!
