Trinity Oaks Retirement Community, 728 Klumac Rd., will join an estimated 1,000 local events to celebrate the 16th Annual National Senior Health & Fitness Day on Wednesday, May 27.
As an official host site, Trinity Oaks will hold “Fitness IS a Good Move! An Afternoon of Fun, Information and Fitness” from 1 ń 5 p.m.
Trinity Oaks will join with an estimated 100,000 seniors across the country to help promote active, healthy lifestyles through physical fitness, good nutrition and preventive care.
Trinity Oaks Executive Director Mike Walsh says the event is “a wonderful opportunity for seniors to make, renew and revitalize their commitment to live healthier lives through better health and fitness.”
Diane Hundley, director of marketing and sales, says the event is also an opportunity for people in the region to see the Trinity Oaks campus and learn what it has to offer.
