Update: Newspaper deliveries are continuing.

Because of a significant mechanical failure on the Salisbury Post’s press early this morning, today’s newspaper is being printed on the press of the High Point Enterprise.
Because of the emergency nature of the problem, today’s Post will not have any inside color pictures or color advertisements, and readers will not find any of the regular advertising inserts that accompany the paper.
Officials at the Post hoped to begin delivering the newspapers to homes and businesses around 9 this morning, but that timing is approximate.
The Post will keep readers updated on its Web site, www.salisburypost.com.

Inserted advertisements from today’s paper will be placed in Wednesday’s Post.
