Help build a healthier future: Support the 2024 United Way campaign
For years, the YMCA has been dedicated to strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. With the support of generous partners like the Rowan County United Way, we continue to make a positive impact by investing in the health and well-being of our children, families and neighbors.
The funds raised during the Annual Rowan County United Way Campaign are vital to sustaining critical programs that benefit individuals across our community. Without this funding, many of the services provided by organizations like the YMCA would not be possible, leaving many who rely on these programs without support.
We are deeply thankful for the resources that enable us to offer life-changing programs like the YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program, Livestrong at the YMCA, and Exercise is Medicine. These evidence-based health programs are essential now more than ever, as many of our neighbors are struggling with chronic health conditions that, if left unchecked, could lead to even greater challenges and more expensive treatments down the road.
Your support of the 2024 United Way Campaign helps ensure that these programs continue to be available to those who need them most. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier future for all.

Trump – 2, Empty Pantsuits – 0
Thankfully, Americans across the country and spectrum spoke loud and clear on Election Day. Democrats have forced their agenda on this country long enough with horrible consequences. Voters finally showed we’ve had enough.
By the way — to all the self-centered celebrities and athletes Democrats have consistently leaned on to rally everyday Americans to help their cause — you failed!
I’m one who heard so many say they would leave the USA if Trump won. Good news is that you won’t have any trouble finding legions of Americans to help you pack your UHaul. Happy trails!
