Three arrested on obstruction in missing woman’s case

LEXINGTON — Three people have been arrested by Lexington police, including two from Salisbury, in connection with a woman who has been missing from Lexington since September.
Nancy Bunly, 31, was last seen leaving her home on Sunday, Sept. 22. Since that time, police have been exhaustive in their search for the 5-foot-4 tall woman and the car she may have been in, a black 2017 Honda Pilot.
On Tuesday, Dec. 17, police arrested Van Ly Lam, 51, of Greensboro, Vienchan Lam, 49, of Salisbury and Jonathan Lam, 30, of Salisbury. A press release stated ” the arrests are directly related to the Lexington Police Department’s investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Bunly.”
Van Ly Lam was charged with three counts of obstruction of justice. Viencham Lam was charged with five counts of obstruction of justice and Jonathan Lam was charged with two counts of obstruction of justice. Each was held on a $200,000 bond.
No further details were provided but police continue to search for Bunly or her car, with an N.C. license plate of RBA-2896 and they ask anyone in the greater Triad area to be on the lookout.
