ROWAN COUNTY — The Rowan Chamber of Commerce has announced that Steve Fisher, F&M Bank, and Starling Johnson Kaklamanos, Johnson Concrete, have been named chair of the board and chair-elect of the chamber, respectively.

“The chamber is honored to have such wonderful business volunteers in our leadership succession,” said Terry Osborne, 2024 chair of the board.

Fisher took over as chair of the board on Jan. 1, 2025, and Kaklamanos will serve as chair of the board in 2026.

Other members of the chamber’s 2025 executive committee include Alan Burke, Alan Burke, CPA, treasurer; Dr. Andrew Smith, Rowan Partners for Education, division chair of education & workforce development; Donna Groce of Trinity Oaks, division chair of membership; Karla Foster Leonard, New Pointe Realty, division chair of business advocacy; Terry Osborne, Rowan-Kannapolis ABC Board, immediate past chair; and Elaine Spalding, president.

New board members are Pam Hylton Coffield, Stitchin’ Post Gifts; Mark Jennings, Jennings Insurance; Dr. Michael Quillen, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College; Kristen Trexler Reavis, Novant Health Rowan Medical Center; and, Ralph Young, Unlock Me Bail Bonds.

Continuing board members include Natasha Brinegar, Food Lion Corporate Offices; Lori Cinquemani, SECU GQ; Ryan Dayvault, NCRC; Carrie Hanneman, F&M Bank; Rosalind Hines, Waggoner Realty Company; Dr. Christine Lynn, Catawba College; Mollie Ruf, Rowan EDC; Ryan Stowe, Stowe Law Firm; and Stacey White, Rowan-Salisbury Schools.

The chamber’s 99th Annual Gala Meeting will be held on Jan. 23, at 6 p.m. at the West End Plaza. The chamber will present annual awards and the ceremonial passing of the gavel.
