For the first time ever, Christiana Lutheran church in Rowan County is offering a drive-thru Ash Wednesday service to people who want or need to participate in Ash Wednesday “on the go.” A creative community outreach in the eastern portion of the county, members of the congregation and the pastor will creatively be offering special prayers, ashes and a blessing to each person who participates in the drive thru, located in the church parking lot. Taking place on Wednesday, March 5, from 2:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.
