MURFREESBORO — Chowan’s Mckenzie Misenheimer hit two homers in a recent 4-1 win against Mount Olive.

Misenheimer (East Rowan) is batting .414 with 28 runs scored in 25 games. She has five homers and five doubles for the Hawks.

GREENSBORO — Lefty slapper Kaylyn Belfield (A.L. Brown) has been a terror in her first season at UNC Greensboro and is batting .493 in 28 games with 22 runs scored.

Belfield was a starter for two seasons at Lipscomb before transferring to UNCG.

SALISBURY — Kary Hales (Carson) is pounding the ball for the Catawba Indians.

Hales is batting .455 with 4 homers and 12 doubles. She’s driven in 26 runs while scoring 20 in 26 games.

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Lonna Addison (Carson) has pitched in 15 games for Winthrop and has been in the circle for 10 starts.

She’s 8-3 with a 2.95 ERA. Addison has struck out 60 batters in 73.2 innings.
