HUNTERSVILLE — Eva Shue and Kynlee Dextraze socked home runs as South Rowan clobbered Lake Norman Charter 12-3 in a South Piedmont Conference game.
South (7-3, 4-3) slugged eight doubles, with Cressley Patterson getting two and Lexie Ritchie, Nora Wheeler, Avery Fisher, Leisha Carter, Danica Krieg and Shue getting one each.
Remi Hagerty dominated for four shutout innings in the circle with eight strikeouts, and Cadance Castor pitched the last three innings.

CONCORD — Twelve different East Rowan girls scored and nine had hits in an 18-1 South Piedmont Conference romp against Robinson.
Kimberly Troublefield and Kori Miller went 2-for-2 as the Mustangs (9-0, 6-0) stayed undefeated, but head coach Todd McNeely said the highlight was being able to get three sets of sisters on the field at the same time.
Morgan and Emma Efird, Kori and Maicy Miller and Graci and Gillian Barber were all out there together.
“Sometimes it’s not about stats, but the memories you can create for families,” McNeely said.

SALISBURY — Salisbury annihilated Lexington 17-0 in Central Carolina Conference action.
Addie Myers had a huge game for the Hornets (5-4, 2-2) with a homer, two doubles and six RBIs.
Ashley Yang pitched a three-inning no-hitter with four strikeouts.
Allie Peeler had two hits, knocked in three and scored three. Teashia Ellis had two hits and three RBIs. Tijah Sims, Dasmine Ambers and Yang scored two runs each.

MOORESVILLE — A.L. Brown won again in the Greater Metro Conference, banging out 18 hits and beating Mooresville 8-2.
The Wonders (5-2, 4-1) got strong pitching from Mary Katherine Black, who struck out four and walked one.
Black was a big part of the offense with three hits and two RBIs. Marynda Blackwelder had four hits, scored three and knocked in three. Myla McNeely had four hits and scored three runs. Madyson Baker had two hits and knocked in two.
The Blue Devils are 5-4 and 1-2 in the league.

CHINA GROVE — It was not a good night for Carson, as the Cougars lost 20-4 to Northwest Cabarrus in South Piedmont Conference action.
Arden Donnell and Haylee Ellis homered for the Trojans.
Madison Clark was the losing pitcher. Carson had a rough game defensively with 10 errors.
Emma Woodlief had two hits, including a triple. Caroline Snow and Alyssa Benner had doubles.
