Wednesday and Thursday games …

LANDIS — Camryn Perkins pitched a two-hitter with five strikeouts as East Rowan beat South Rowan 11-0 in a five-inning South Piedmont Conference game on Thursday.

East (12-1, 9-0) had a strong defensive game and pounded out 18 hits. The Mustangs scored two in the first, five in the third and four in the fifth.

Eleni Miller, Lily Kluttz and Chloe Shank went 3-for-4 for the Mustangs. Gracie Barber was 2-for-3.

Eva Shue and Cressley Patterson had the hits for the Raiders (8-5, 5-5).

FARMINGTON — Lenoir-Rhyne recruit Arabelle Shulenburger led West Rowan to Thursday’s 3-0 non-conference win against Davie in the circle and at the plate.

Shulenburger allowed six hits and one walk, while striking out four.

West (10-2) scored all of its runs in the sixth inning, with EA Nance, Riley Haggas and Shulenburger driving in the runs. Shulenburger had two doubles.

Davie is 11-3.

KANNAPOLIS — A.L. Brown won 4-0 against Carson, with Mary Katherine Black pitching the shutout in Thursday’s non-conference game.

She struck out six, walked one and allowed six hits against the Cougars (2-9).

Kennedy Yow led the offense for the Wonders (7-3-1) with three hits. She scored two runs.

Leah Troutman had two hits for the Cougars. Abigail Harrelson had a double.

Caylee Snow pitched a complete game, with three strikeouts and four walks.

TRINITY — Allie Peeler drove in seven runs as Salisbury beat Trinity 18-6 in a Wednesday non-conference game.

The Hornets (6-6) led 7-6 after four innings but scored 11 in the fifth to win by the 10-run rule.

Winning pitcher Ashley Yang struck out seven batters and scored five runs. She had a triple, went 3-for-4 and drove in three runs.

Dasmine Ambers had a triple and drove in two runs.

Peeler had a double, a single and a sacrifice fly.

Ambrielle Keith scored three runs. Addie Myers, Allison Jones and Layla Miller scored two runs each.

Trinity is 2-12.
