Salisbury Police reports

• An assault on Kenly Street reportedly occurred about 5:45 a.m. April 11.

• Property damage from a hit and run on Jake Alexander Boulevard West reportedly occurred between 2 p.m. April 10 and 4 a.m. April 11.

• A larceny from South Main Street reportedly occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. April 9 and was reported April 11. Total estimated loss was $237.

• Property damage from a hit and run on Yost Street reportedly occurred about 9:50 a.m April 11.

• A larceny on South Main Street reportedly occurred between 11:42 p.m. April 10 and 10 a.m. April 11.

• A report of shots fired on Statesville Boulevard reportedly occurred about 11:20 p.m. April 11.  No injuries reported.

• A larceny from a motor vehicle on Marriott Circle was reported at 4:09 a.m. April 12.

• A larceny from a motor vehicle on East Innes Street reportedly occurred between 4 and 4:40 a.m. April 12. Total estimated loss was $2,800.

• An attempted motor vehicle theft on Sunset Drive reportedly occurred between 5:30 p.m. April 11 and 9:40 a.m. April 12.

• A robbery with a firearm on Gold Hill Drive reportedly occurred at 6:15 p.m. April 12. Total estimated loss was $280 and no one was injured.

• An assault on Roberts Street reportedly occurred at 3 a.m. April 14.

• Draven Paul-Robbins Stegall, 25, was charged April 13 with assault with a deadly weapon or assault inflicting serious injury of officer.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• An assault on St. Matthews Church Road reportedly occurred about 6:36 p.m. April 10.

• A burglary of a business on West Ritchie road reportedly occurred at 3:53 a.m. April 11.

• A larceny from a building on Bailey Court, Mooresville reportedly occurred between noon May 8, 2024 and 8 a.m. Aug. 4, 2024 and was reported April 11, 2025.

• A motor vehicle theft on Grandeur Drive reportedly occurred about 6:02 a.m. April 12.

• An assault on Turner Drive, Kannapolis reportedly occurred about 7 a.m. April 12.

• A larceny from a building on Rosemont Road reportedly occurred between 9 a.m. April 5 and 8:45 a.m. April 12.

• An assault on Gold Knob Road reportedly occurred about 10:18 p.m. April 12.

• Donavon Shamore Kerns, 25, was charged April 10 with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute schedule VI controlled substance.

• Tariq Joshua Foster, 26, was charged April 10 with failure to appear/comply (two counts), felony flee to elude, trafficking in marijuana, prohibited open container, resist/obstruct/delay of officer non-assault, and misdemeanor warrant service for another agency.

• Keith Wayne Wright, 56, was charged April 11 with felony flee to elude, flee to elude arrest and burning certain buildings.
