Salisbury Police reports

• An assault on Roberts Street was reported at 3 a.m. April 14.

• An incidence of fraud/flim-flam/trickery in a rental property reportedly occurred between 12:38 p.m. April 12 and noon April 13. It was reported to police on April 14 and involved a total estimated loss of $1,400.

• Tariq Joshua Foster, 26, was charged April 15 with assault with a deadly weapon on a law enforcement officer or government official when he tried to hit an officer with his car.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• Dawson Ryder Parks, 20, was charged April 13 with possession of schedule II controlled substance.
